Description:
Equally suited for sculpture or throwing, this clay can even be raku fired!  This fireclay body contains a fine grog that adds extra standing strength. This clay reduces very well. The iron produces a deep red brown color.
   
Temperature Range: Fires Between Cone 8-10, 2280-2345° F
Shrink Rate: 12-13%
Texture: Medium
Best Uses: Sculpture, Throwing, Raku Firing
Color: Deep red brown (reduced)
Qualities: Extra standing strength
Glazes: Use glazes that mature between cone 8 and 10.
